Hi
We’re moving to Spain in November(😎) and going to import my wife’s Freelander 2, 2013. I’m trying to get a definitive answer as to whether the headlights need adjusting/changing to be legal in the EU. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Not an expert but depends on your lights is my understanding.

Best way to be sure - at night time find a flat wall or similar, point the car directly at it and put the headlights on. If the shape of the light is flat at the top, then your lights don't need changing. If the shape of the light is higher on the left side then they're designed for UK roads and need to be changed for EU.

How you change them I dunno, you can get stick on deflectors but if you're going to move permanently I'd suggest replacing the interior deflector mirrors in the headlamps with RH drive ones.

Why do you want to drive a RHD car on the right?

Shirley that's just undue risk to you and others.

If you want to live somewhere where they drive on the wrong side, get a car with a steering wheel on the wrong side to.

took a quick look at this and in case you would need to swap the headlights out, here are some links for lights in Sweden and one presumes Spain has breakers as well so.... right hand side https://laga.se/visa-produkter?partcode=1022&sbrcarcode=3960&vehicle=0. lefthand side https://laga.se/visa-produkter?partcode=1021&sbrcarcode=3960&vehicle=0
the prices for second hand cars in Sweden is crazy but here is the auto uncle link for the few freelanders available in Sweden at the moment just to give some reference for you.
