Got my first Land Rover on new years eve and one of my two key fobs intermittently work opening and closing the doors, I don't know how long the Land Rover has been on the forecourt for sale and believe that the fobs recharge whilst in the dash? Is there any way I can recharge the fob without using it as I don't use the vehicle very often at the moment or is there a d i y way of replacing the soldered in lithium battery please?
Thanks Jim Bob

yes they charge while car is being used, batteries can be changed check out youtube to see how it is done.

Did mine a couple of years back. Got the local TV repair man to solder a battery for the price of a pint. Then fitted in a replacement snap together case from ebay and good as new. Go for it save yourself some money.

Thanks for the tip. I've found out that you can get a diy battery kit online and solder it in yourself for about a fiver so happy days! YouTube has one or two thingys on it how to do it :)

They guy down the local computer sales and repair shop soldered up the battery clip on my F1 fob when it broke.
