M marley New Member Aug 20, 2022 #1 my freelander 1 Has developed a single knock when pulling away or accelerating .Has just gone through M O T like it , so I am thinking engine mount ,the knock seems to be gearbox side any idea anyone thanks marley .

andyfreelandy Well-Known Member Aug 20, 2022 #2 Check the lower engine steady first. It is underneath and connects engine and box to the front subframe. Roughly in the middle at rear of subframe.

M marley New Member Jul 21, 2023 #6 thanks for all the replies , it was the lower engine gearbox mount replaced and is fine now
