The clock in my freelander has packed up and was wondering if anyone had replaced theirs with an alternative.

and where is the the best place to get a replacement

It's important to remember that the original audio head/cd unit won't operate unless a compatible clock/display is fitted.

this is only true for certain head units. The C42 for example doesn't give a stuff whether the clock is there or not as it doesn't make use of the clock display.
