hi there im in the prosess of byeing a freelander 1.8 petrol
what sort of mpg can i get ....cheers...

Hi,

I'm getting around 30mpg(mostly motorway!) using Shell unleaded(found supermarket petrol caused engine to sound rough!!), not too sure if this good or bad????

I do enjoy driving it as you're higher than most of the cars on the road and not too bad a ride!

The Freelander has no M.P.G. figures .... they've never managed to make one go for a mile without breaking down.

'S true, honest

The S3 2.25 does about 1.2 G.P.M.
