Hi all I have recently purchased a 1999 1.8 freelander.
The mot advisories was rear diff mounts and track rod ends and a oil leak. The problem is it drove fine coming back from Wales just a slight knocking nothing to loud. But on Sunday it suddley felt that it was starved of fuel and jumping a lot which made things knock a lot and smelt of oil. Just want to rule problems out and find the route Cause. Should mention its converted to a 2wd drive removing the propshaft and the vcu.
need help to find the problem as the car drove fine before Sunday. Is it the rear diff mounts and the track rod ends?
anyone please help me?
Thanks
