Having owned my TD4 2001 from almost new through thick and thin its now running better than it ever has! However many years ago when the fuel pumps started going wrong for the first time i gave up paying out to have the yellow engine warning light reset out and its been happily glowing away telling me the fuel pressure is low from many pumps ago (11 years) !
The car is from a time when "testbook" was the system until a common OBD system was used. as far as i know the common ODBs don't want to know it and no amount of pressing the "clear all faults button will do anything and nor does disconnecting the battery. So now next time it gets MOTed apparently it will be a fail! (though the car has passed 11 times with it on and if running better than ever it will fail because a light is on. (now giving false information) so anyone any ideas? or anyone able to do a reset with a testbook or testbook clone soft where somewhere near Hampshire /Surrey gu35 I am happy to come to you for a reset at resalable cost before the next MOT next year Thanks Gordon

Just seen this. Always better to ask question the main Freelander forum.
An Icarsoft 930 or LR2 can reset the light. My 2002 has the same system and this works fine.
Or take the binnacle out and remove the bulb or stick a bit of tape over it for the mot.
