get a roverron box, blank off the EGR and replace all the turbo hoses.

I had mine remapped and the performance went up by 40 bhp torque up by 50 lbs/ft and fuel ecconomy up to 40 mpg.
I have fitted air filters to other cars and not noticed any performance increase without fitting exhausts cams etc. as the standard filters and mas air flow meter is generally quite good on its own.
So in short get it chipped and be amazed how it transforms the car.

as I understand it a Roverron box is a piece of **** - but look on his website or pm him.
as fur hoses being expensive - not as expensive as a turbo or engine - do it as a service requirement - yu wont regret it.
if yu think hoses are expensive - why buy a hippoo - they only need to sneeze to have a £250 bill!

what is the issue with the turbo hoses on the td4, ?

As mentioned Roverrons box of tricks takes 10 minutes to fit.I have one and a K+N on my wifes 02 TD4 and its like having a new car.
We had some issues recently with the performance which Ron sorted very quickly indeed and the car was awful as standard, when the new box went back on, the car felt fantastic again.
I have had lots of my cars re-mapped by specialists who claim the world in performance gains, some have felt good others not as much but based on cost and instant gains and i do mean you will instantly feel the difference Rons box of tricks cannot be beaten.
