hi I have a freelander 2005 1.8 petrol I have had a problem with the car having a engine management check light I put the diagnostic kit on to find the cam shaft sensor was at fault along with the O2 sensor I have changed the cam shaft sensor today and cleared the faults with my scanner and the car still shows up with the he fault of cam shaft sensor?? But is now chugging and missing cutting out when idling it also has developed the oil light continuously flashing while it is idle but goes out when driving any ideas would be much appreciated as I am at my wits end with my car!!!

Does the car only do short journeys ?
Does it have the same symptoms when hot ?
King lead (centre lead on the dizzy) is the weak spot on these... They rub on the airbox.

No the car is used daily and would be doing motorway journeys everyday it chugs more when it's hot and it don't have a dizzy cap I have checked all the coil pack and these seem fine as when you pull them out the engine runs worst than normal!!
