I recently replaced the clutch master cylinder.
Since then the clutch disengages right at the top of the pedal movement. I.e. the free play is negligible.
As a result I think the thrust bearing is constantly turning and it has become a little noisey when I depress the pedal.
I know that ultimately a new bearing will be required, but if I can adjust the free play, it might help it last a little longer until I can afford it!
I am not sure which way to turn the nut on the master cylinder shaft.
While I am at it, I am not sure how to adjust that end-stop bolt either.
All suggestions will be gratefully received.
