Well in a manor of speaking

Took the engine cover of the TD5 to find the back engine cover is totally drenched in engine oil

Looks like it is the rear camshaft seals gone, but i have no ideas how to get to it... looks like an engine out jon and I dont have the equipement here to doi usch a thing.....

:mad: gonna have to pay a bloody garage...

The camshaft oilseal is a push fit type, so you should be able to find it by touch and remove it with a long handled flat-bladed screwdriver.
 
But the back of the engine cover needs replacing -- foams just drenched in oil

Not the top cover the rear engine cover
 
Hi swampey...you can steamclean,jetwash the bulkhead foam cover. This will remove 90% of the oil,make sure you use a good detergent.
