i killed my gearbox on my 300tdi disco
after let down after let down found a good box on ebay within 5 miles of me.
phoned the guy and got a great deal, then let down after let down from various mechanics to fit gearbox.
telephoned guy i bought box from on the off chance he could fit, turns out he has just started a small garage, he said he could fit for me straight away.
dropped everything and came down to tow the disco to his garage on monday late afternoon. kept me updated throughout monday night and tuesday.
went to pick motor up tuesday afternnon, gearbox fitted, all fluid levels checked and topped up as neccessary at no extra cost and gave the disco a good look over for any other problems.
i would highly recommend this guy, he does work on all vehicles not just land rovers.

Its allways good to find a garage you cant rely on. how comes he had a box? dose he break them, that would be handy for ya:bounce:

yeah he breaks them, buys them to fix up and sell too
