I HAVE A 89 FORD BRONCO 2 THE TRANNY WENT OUT I PUT ANOTHER ONE IN AND IT
STILL WONT ENGAGE THE TRANNY FLUID WILL NOT GO DOWN DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY
SUGGESTIONS

Did you also change the torque converter?

The fluid pump is run off the torque converter. If it didn't engage properly,
it won't pump fluid.

any suggestions on how to get it up far enough theres not much room to work
with and i thought that might be it but weve tried everything

Getting the pump tgo engage is sometimes a real bear. It takes finesse more
than anything else. If you try to force it, you'll ruin it and have to start over.
Another thought is that the cooler lines are plugged.
