==== NOW SOLD ====
As my lad is growing and can no longer fit in the centre seat of my 90, I've had to go out and buy a 110 with more seats, so it's up for sale...
G Reg 90 in a fetching shade of NATO green. Very straight body, a couple of minor dinks but generally very good for it's age. Originally a 2.5NAD according to the VIN, but at some point it's had an engine swap to a v6 petrol. CSW side panels with sliding glass, but no seats in the back.
Ford v6 3.0 'Essex' engine. Weber twin carb (overhauled & rejetted), electronic dizzy, K&N filter. Makes very nice v6 gargly noises and goes pretty well for a landy! It's been fitted using a Steve Parker conversion kit to the standard landy LT77 box. I replaced the complete exhaust system from the manifolds back when I got it with bits from Steve Parker.
2" lift kit with new Supergaz shocks and springs.
255 85 R16 BFG Mud Terrains (KMs) with loads of tread, new spare on chrome/silver weller style wheels.
Stainless front brake hoses.
Disk braked rear axle (looks like a 300TDI rear as it has the later driveshaft ends)
Mud Stuff centre console.
Full length headlining.
Sigma alarm with central locking.
Electric fan with x-eng switch.
MOT until early December 2015. Passed with flying colours with only an advisory for pitted rear discs due to lack of use.
Chassis is very very solid for it's age - it's had a couple of small patches but no major surgery, crossmember is original and solid. The top corners of the bulkhead were replaced when we got it, along with a new windscreen and the seals above and below (roof and bulkhead).
I'm sure there's more - I've replaced loads of bits and pieces on this since I got it 2 years ago - replacement rad, exhaust, rebuild all the disk calipers with stainless pistons, axles, new props etc.
It's been very dependable since I've had it and hasn't let me down. I've not off roaded it, although it looks like it has been in the past.
There are a few bad points - the paintwork was done on the cheap by the previous owner, and bits of the previous (BT?) yellow are showing through around some of the edges, and the finish isn't that great. Likewise the chequerplate on the wing tops on the bonnet was badly sprayed black at some point and is flaking off in places. The props grumble a bit on the overrun due to the lift. The battery is on it's way out - if it's left for a few weeks without being used it struggles a bit, but if it's used regularly it's fine.
With some TLC and a respray this would be a very very smart 90..
What looks to be watermarks on the sides is frost, not paint defects. The problems with the paint job are round the joins between wings, the wheelarches and plastic spats etc as it wasn't well masked, there's yellow showing through underneath...
Technically, it's front mid-engined as the engine sits behind the axle. It makes it very easy to work on anyway!!
Any questions about the landy please ask... I'm looking for around £3250. No confectionary offers accepted...
