My series 3 has to be physically forced into 1st 2nd and sometimes the other gears with engine running. I have bled and adjusted the clutch as per haynes. Has anyone any other ideas? I am getting just a little bit annoyed.
 
I agree with sweets i have to double the clutch some times and if i change gear to fast third crunches, must be a querk with series landys?
 
Series synchro is pretty basic. I find just pausing for half a second between 2nd & 3rd allows the synchro gear to catch up. Dunt lose much road speed & is just a bit kinder to the box.

Formula 1 it ain't never going to be, but with me V it still accelerates quicker than a lot of road cars and although you drop back a little, once safely in gear without that graunching sound it soon catches up again. Really shames them too!
 
I agree with Marcus and I count 1,2,3 between gear canges (No syncromech on my 2a for 1st 2nd).
It could be clutch draging when hot. Check where it starts to bite and does it do it more when its hot or cold?
