Parts went off to the platers, but cannot for the life of me remember where they came from. Nor can I find them in the photos or 3D models...

They are handed, and I know they are mine (not mixed up) as I stamped "LH" and "RH" on them as an aide memoire:



Centre punch for scale. They are a capping for something...but have walked around, scratched my head and still cannot find where they came from.

It will be a "doh" moment when the riddle is solved...so answers on a postcard please...

I’m pretty sure they are from the channel in the roof, internal, where the roof,side panel and mount for the seat belt bracket all meet. If it is try them at either side. When I was working on mine they were drilled and bolted to a specific side, they also slide back n forward a bit to get holes to line up.

Not quite, but that line of thinking triggered a memory!

They go under the centre tub capping - the one on the bulkhead - and rivets through the top capping hold them on.

So thank you...jigsaw puzzle piece solved.

Sound. Glad you found out then. I did my own motor and I had a job trying to remember where everything went during rebuild.
