Hi there,

just a quickie: I’ve a cracked lens on my NS fog light (newer clear oval style). I can get hold of a couple of unite with other faults but good lenses so ivv no windetedcc C whether it was possible (or at least how practical) it would be to remove and replace the clear lens,

ive heard tales of baking in an oven to melt the goo but I can’t see that going down terribly well with the OH.

has anyone done this successfully or is it more hassle than it’s worth ?

Thanks again
Bob

There not cheep in that style but good ones do come up on fleebay for about fifty quid each they are the same as some off the discos
as to getting the fronts of you could end up breaking two lights.

Yeah, I’ve seen a couple at about that price, and you’re probably right -I’d likely end up with two broken / melted units !
