Ok so about a month ago my beloved 95 disco 300tdi got stolen.. The thieving c**ts robbed my house then took the keys to my truck and then ram raided a shop in retford. Me and a mate of mine made few calls and found my truck dumped with superficial damage which can be fixed easily and ill be back out playing again once insurance decide to release it as ive bought it back off them. Ive purchased the parts i need, barrel, back door, cluster.. (proud that was all the damage after it went reversed straight through shop front hehe) but my only problem is the key fob for immobiliser.. Seems doddle to bypass from what ive read but ideally id like it working again.. So without the original can i program a new single button fob to my truck? Does it have to be done while immobiliser inactive? Can it be done... Your advice would be grateful. I do know as said subject can be sensitive with security in mind to your own trucks so if you prefer send me a pm instead. uploadfromtaptalk1401197065609.jpg

Sorry to hear of your plight :(

Single button fobs are user programmable so easy, just find another fob making sure its a similar frequency to the black alarm ECU u have, the sequence around 6 or 7 steps all in something like 8 seconds is in the forum if u search, it's also in RAVE.

All the fob will do is set/unset the alarm/immobiliser and operate the central locking remotely, u still should be able to do this with your key in the drivers door lock if the system is functioning correctly.
