Hi guys
I am looking at modifying a 3.1/2.8 Isuzu flywheel to accept a LR clutch cover. Currently all conversion kits use the Isuzu cover with a Land Rover plate.
Does anyone have a land rover engine that would otherwise have been connected to an LT77 out of a vehicle which they could measure for me. The measurement I'm after is the distance from the face of the flywheel to the face of the engine that mates with the bell housing, i.e. How far is the flywheel recessed or protruding from the mating face.
Having run a slightly tuned 2.8 for years I think that the present isuzu clutch cover is working at it's limit and isn't fully compatible with the LR linkages for full movement.
Thanks in advance
Fred
