ready to put a new rear floor into the tub of my SIII but need some advice on the minimum thickness it needs to be for the MOT please - any one out there know, have looked on the net but cant find the information

as the series landy has a chassis i don't thing the floor thickness will come into the mot. can't you measure a bit ot the old floor or even one of the footwell floors?

I got a sheet of 1/2" ply covering the holes in mine! I also have some 3mm ali chequer plate in the garage.............one day I will get the jigsaw out.

so i'm not the only fan of jigsaws here. i've got a lovely one of most landy models , its a 10,000 piece one a right bugger i can tell you

i done a 3d jigsaw of a globe of the earth once, bloody hard that was i can tell you

Bet it isn't 10,000 pieces, if it is a proper landy one it will have some bits missing which would have had replacements carefully crafted from gaffer tape.
