My dash lights started flickering tonight. . . including all the switch illumination.

Guess I need to dig into RAVE again !! . . . .and will check Fuse-1 in case, but RAVE says this also feeds Radio which was working fine ??

Dimmer was working fine. Whatever brightness I set it to, the flickering would go Off-On-Off at the preset brightness value. My guess is bad connecter or earth somewhere.

Check the earth points. Mine did this after I cleaned all the earths and added conductive grease for good measure. Turned out the conductive grease made it a hell of a lot worse, and made the dash flicker nicely! Good clean earths, nice a tight........without busting the studs!!! They are indicated in the ETM but there's also one under the coolant header tank and one under the panel on the right (for RHD) where the bonnet release is located.
