Thanks for the responses - obviously I have trawled ebay, but I don't want the overpriced unravelling Cr*p that is mostly listed.
The alternative proper flexible jointing sections listed appear to be too short for what I need.
Just thought that some one who had engineered, rather than bodged, a modified exhaust might have a recommendation rather than some sarcastic (ebay FFS) reply.

I got mine from a company called CES Home - CES UK Motor Factors and Car Parts Distributor - UK Exhaust Suppliers Think it was about £18 for 2m length.

You should be able to buy it from just about any of the motor factors.
Problem is with the std flexi pipe is as its mild steel it very quickly rusts solid and stop being flexi.
Stainless is probably the way to go but expensive.
I would try and shorten the gap between the fixed pipes and use a stainless flexi with either weld on oe clamp on cuffs for a nice looking job.
