94 soft dash and the brake warning light on the dash has started to flash when driving.
Most relevant things is a recent change of rear disks and pads using this kit from Island [FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]
Rear Brake Discs and Pads (1986-95) (FTC1381STC9189+)

The softy appears to have the same warning light for pads, hydraulic pressure and handbrake. No issues in braking performance and fluid level is fine.
So did I get the wrong part or for some reason is there an issue with pad sensor wires.
It does seem to be electrical so I imagine it would be a poor connection somewhere.
Thoughts?

Saw one like ours up for sale the other nite thought it was yours!
Most proberly the sensor disconnect it and retry if it stays out then its a duff set of pads

Cheers Stuart.
There are a couple out there in red/grey. First time I saw one on ebay I thought it was a scam and they'd used my pics!
I'll get the pads checked.

The brake warning lights suffer from bad earthing. I have found the most trouble comes from the earth on the front right wiring. Corroded brake warning wires might mean having to chop off the connector. Also take off and clean the earth on the swivel and check the condition of the earth wire and connector. If all is good up front then check the connections on the rear.

The next place to check is the hand brake switch. The warning circuit is fairly simple but you just need to have a hunt around. Using a multimeter to check continuity is helpful.

Had same problem. turned out to be the hand brake switch on the hand brake lever. Difficult to trace as it only occured when the gaiter surrounding the hand brake was compressed or squeezed by your leg when driving.
