Okay. Heres Heres the back ground.

Fl1 03. Aftermarket stereo and parrot hands free. Stereo works and sounds okay. When the Bluetooth hands free kicks in the sound for it is very tinny. Shoved handsfree and stereo to other car and fitted its stereo with built in bluetooth to FL

Parrot and stereo works okay in other car. Bluetooth stereo from other car is now tinny. Played around with fader/balance and seems front speakers only tweeters working. No mid range or very little. Is there a built in amp in the freelander. Or am i probably looking at door speakers goosed.?

No amp on an 03 Freelander. It's common for the full range door speakers to fail or suffer corrosion on the connections. The speaker wiring can fail too, although less common than the speakers themselves.

You could have the Harmon/Kardon system and that comes with an amp - what do your tweeters say on them or are they plain?

Amp is under passenger seat if it’s factory fitted

On an 03 the ES Premium came with H/K

Mines a serengeti. Dont think im that lucky, but will check.. tweeters have nothing marked on the cover . Probid range door speakers are knackered.
