Hello!

I'm having a bit of a headache with my wagon at the moment (surprised??) and wondered if any of you guys could help?

Basically, my 110sw used to be a utility truck for southern elec/scottish power or someone of the like, and it had an amber light, adhoc alarm, winch etc etc fitted. All removed before it got in my hands.
Well.. I say all removed.. there's a crap load of wiring left in there, and it all bloody ends up in the dash right behind the clock and cigerette lighter.

I'm a complete novice with electronics, as such I haven't got a buggery on how my stereo can fit into that mishmash!! I wondered if anyone maybe able to talk me through it, either with tips on here, or maybe even in person (I'm in Tadley nr Basingstoke in Hampshire)?

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,
Dale

Edit: Just remembered, I'm the the kingdom of the T*O*S*S*E*R*S aren't I!! Maybe one of you err fine... fellas could gis a hand!

I found a few details that could help, and thought I'd add em on here incase anyone searches for stereo stuff and comes across this topic.

Now, its from another forum, so don't lynch me.. we're all one big happy breed remember!! click here for said link

I would start by looking at the extra wires and taking them out - behind the dash where the radio mounts there should be about 4/5connectors and associated wires. You might need to do a bit of a strip down but it shouldn't be too bad once you see what clearly doesn't do anything any more to get rid of it.

If you did a search then you'd find out that ah used a thick white for switched live, a thick brown fur constant live and the thick black fur the earth... on a Def 200tdi:rolleyes:;)
