Hi all,
Next on the list is fitting brake lines, Having not stripped the old ones out and the new chassis not having any pre drilled holes for clips etc.
What have people done in the way of fitting them. I don't want to drill the chassis but I can't see any alternative.
cheers peter

Drill it, dob some grease on the screws and dont worry, well not in your lifetime anyway.

Why are you so worried about drilling the chassis, the galv will protect the exposed steel. If you are worried you can do what i did, paint the holes and screw/clip the screws/clips in while the paint is wet, then pump wax in behind.
Of all the places my original steel chassis was rotten none of them were at original brake line holes!:D

Agreed, unfortunately I've had to drill and cut a few bits on my new chassis, but a lick of zinc paint and the protection offered by the galv coating will mean it will outlast me.
