Hi fellow landy lovers

wonder if anyone can help ?

the steering wheel on my landy has seen better days so have found a nice hardly used steering wheel off a mini circa 1988-90 . which fits lovely and matchs trim lol, my problem is how do i wire the horn button ??
am going to use the landy one as it fits in recess nicely but the mini wheel doesnt have to connection on rear for the giro connection? (wiper ring )

so is there a way of overcoming this as know steering coloum is other connection ???

all help is welcome

many thanks

darren

Looks like you will have to fit a column leaver style switch which were around once... just a pat of the hand on the end button did the toot toot, other than that a flexi coiled cable that allows the wheel to turn each way fully as used in the days before rotary couplings on steering columns if you wanted a steering wheel switch, wire between the horn button and the horn connection of the coupler.

The early Minis had a wire up the centre of the steerong column:)
