Hi I can't see 2 engine lifting eyes only 1 at the front it's a disco engine. What are you guys lifting from? The air intake ? Exhaust manifold? Or just with the front lifting eye?
What are you lifting it with? I made my own lifting eye for the rear of the head. Just a bit of quarter inch plate with holes for the small bolts to the head and a larger one for the lifting shackle. Engine needs to be balenced to go in.
There should be a couple of lifting eyes on the engine that you are going to take out, assuming that it is a 4 cylinder engine, they should bolt onto the tdi engine.
My disco engine has one fitted under two of the head bolts lhs between number 3 and 4 injector iirc. I've also knocked one up out of some scrap flat plate made to fit the two bolt holes rear of the head once.
