Hi All,

It's been a good few years since I packed up my old hobby of track day driving, so I decided to replace the need with an off-roading hobby.

I did plenty of research on here with regards to different types of Land Rovers, and even other makes, and decided on a Defender 300TDI. A 200 TDI would have done fine, but this came up for a good price so I grabbed it.

I need to get the Hardtop through it's MOT first, then I intend to smarten her up a bit.

Here are some pics:

Any advice for a newbie ? I'm thinking first purchases should be a haynes manual and a suitable jack.

Cheers

I got mine of yan the landy man, I think I paid a bit more than I wanted to but it's been rock solid. Apart from him making a tit of the V5 which I had to sort out myself

Buy the Haynes manual, then throw it out the window at the nearest bin....

Get hold of the RAVE Workshop Manuals instead....

And she looks like a fun and tidy Deffie.....need pics of it covered in mud, buried up to its axles in sh!te, with you sitting in the drivers seat with the BIGGEST grin on yer mug....
