was asked this n another forum, though you guys may know....

can anyone tell me if there were any landrovers around in 1943? the reason i ask this is my girlfriends father was at work and a bloke came in with his landrover and had the log book which showed a date of 1943, i thought landrovers were first bought into production in 1948, any one got any idea, totaly confused me to be honest

okey dokey. i guess it meant 48, but says 43. still kinda knew that! was hping someone may have some clever idea about protypes or something?

ok, so the answer is its a cock up! still pretty cool to own the onl 1943 landy in the world!!!!
