I've been asked on a forum I'm trying to join "What is the first model that Land Rover made?" I didn't know so I looked it up. The answer was:

The Land Rover name was originally used by the Rover Company for one specific vehicle model, named simply the Land Rover, launched by Rover in 1948."

I'm being told, by this Argentinian site (I'm in Argentina with my Defender) that my answer is wrong (and so far, I can't, therefore, sign up.

Am I wrong or am I right?
