Hi all!!
I got my first Land Rover two days ago, a Freelander Td4 (I'm not sure which one specifically as I'm a LR baby and don't have the manual at hand). Everything is exactly what I had hoped for, it drives great, the engine is smart and everything runs as it should. However... All the numbered buttons on the CD section to change through disks won't work, not one of them (the volume, eject, off/on buttons all work fine). It looks a bit like this...
1 2 3 <M> 4 5 6
I went from a Ford Fiesta (2008/9 model) to this vehicle, and they both have the exact same standard built in radio/cd system, so I'm really stuck on what the problem might be. There is also no AUX socket, so I can't use an external device. I've tried going through google to see if there are any solutions, but have come up empty. To many this will seem so trivial, but I pretty much have my dream vehicle, and I really want it to all be in working order, and if there is a problem it will just niggle at me. If anyone can point me in the direction of a potential solution, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!
J
