Well, how could I resist? We're up to just over 2 inches here in Bucks, so had to take the RR out for a quick spin.

Main roads were already fairly compacted down as people made their way home, but the back roads were fresh virgin snow. Round here's it pretty hilly which usually makes things a little trickier, but pleased to say no trouble whatsoever for the RR:

- Tried a (childish!) full-throttle standing start and whilst the T/C chimed in briefly, it just went for it as if on dry tarmac
- Tried a foot-to-the-floor stop and the ABS worked perfectly, did obviously take longer to stop than normal but not by as much as I'd expect
- On the steepest uphill I could find I came to a complete stop, gave it a decent amount of throttle and again no wheelspin, no upset, just drove beautifully.

Overall this one is better than my last Classic I reckon, mostly down to the Insa Turbo Traction track A/T tyres I reckon. Anyway, here's a couple of pics and a short video to follow - enjoy!

Not happy about something?!

Dunt think nathan could stand the edge of seat excitement of you driving in foot deep snow and ploughing through snow drifts of bonnet depth. Next time could you post something more boring like driving a road that a ford ka would have no trouble with.

You're a cheerful ****er, aren't ya?

I work in a ski resort town, so bad roads are common. My round trip commute is 125 miles a day. I've driven those roads for over 25 years in many different cars and my RRC is by far the best of all of them in crap conditions.

snow make driveing your rover fun....last year we had pretty good snow here in st louis...i liked following plows around and driveing in the soft piloed up snow...felt like i was floating...this year none..

Yeah nowhere near as much as last year but it's still pretty steep and hilly, so was impressed as to how unfussed it was by it all!

First snowy drive in my P38 last night - seriously impressed with how well it coped, it didn't put a tyre wrong despite a nut at the wheel pushing the envelope a bit.
