Hi guys.
I took a disco across to Bulgaria last year, but when I went to register it ,they could'nt find the engine number,so they would'nt register it ,until they can see an engine number.I've looked everywhere to no avail,it's a disco 2.5 tdi R reg. if anyone can help me get it back on the road it will be very much appreciated. It's the 9 letter number 21L*****A

looking at engine from front of car
it should be below no 1 injector
stamped on engine casing very big so should be
no probs to see

Hi Mike
It's the 9 letter number that starts with 21L*****A, I can find the other numbers , but not this one.I am back in England now,but need to find this number for when I go back over next year .

hi jocksky
it should be there where i said
just below nio1 heaterplug on the flat piece of metal
just at the mounting for injection pump

Hi again'
Skyped my mate in bulgaria ,he's looked around that area you said Mike, and he can't find owt.There are'nt any grind marks on the engine, so it's a mystery. I was wondering if it would be worth contacting landrovr at solihull with the reg and casting number.
