Hi Folks,

Having been a lurking on here for a while I've finally managed to bite the bullet and got me a 1992 Classic 3.9 SE.

There's a couple of holes in the sills that I've spotted already but no advisories on last years MOT so maybe they're acceptable for now. Its marginal on the 300mm rule to the B pillar, we shall see...

In any case I reckon doing an MOT to find out what else needs doing is my first order of duty. It runs out in a little over a month so if the miracle happens and it sails though I won't have wasted much.

I was going to ask for tips on a RRC sympathetic MOT centre in the Bracknell/Camberley/Farnborough area but I just found this post http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f16/land-rover-friendly-mot-testing-stations-156073.html - so maybe I'll use one of those.

Assuming the worst any other good local garages in the area for those "little" welding jobs?
