Hi, just a quick intro...
I'm not sure if it's a good, or bad thing, but we're suddenly an all British car family.
I'm Nige from Coventry, a computer nerd by trade (linux, cisco, etc, etc) and a British car nut by hobby.
I'm now the proud owner of a RR 2.5 DT (1996) and my absolute pride and joy, my uncles 1963 Triumph Spitfire that he raced in the 60's (now fully restored). (amongst other cars)
The RR has replaced my trusty old Volvo 850 that is soon to go to the great Ebay auction in the sky.
I've just started rebuilding an old web site of mine that came offline for a year, or two. It will be detailing the full restoration of the Spitfire over the past three years and I'll be putting up anything related to the RR too. There's already a short piece about me finding out the problems related to replacing the oil cooler lines on these.
4q2.org.uk
I've already got a first post up with a gearbox query, so I'm sure that I'm going to find plenty to photograph and document for the site.
Later,
Nige
