Main stealer puts a split in the plastic side bit to fit. If you lift the floor matts and be gentle with it you can get it in without the spliting the plastic. While your there, put your hand up and remove leaves.Thats the one, and my new Britpart fell to pieces putting it in

And mine when the bendy sides bent too much, original LR filter came out in one piece and the britpart filter went in with broken sides.

i fiited the britpart one too, a bit flimsy but you get what you pay for & it's a cheap once a year replacement..
Britpart one goes in & out without problems.
I agree about making sure the housing is clear of debris before fitting the new filter. I don't think the original filter had ever been replaced on my wife's F1 and there was quite a bit of rubbish in there but since I have been doing the servicing myself (using BP filters) it has been fine.
