hello guys, hope your all well
I've just picked up my first land rover, its a 1.8 freelander, wanted a diesel but this came up at the right price and was very local.
i now have a few questions regarding it...
- 52mm throttle body, is it worth it?
- mine has been covered to 2wd so i will be covering it back to 4, i have just picked up a refurbished propshaft and am ordering a new nut and bolt set. i still need to get the ird shaft though so will not be fitting it just yet but... can i check my ird or diff isn't damaged and this is why it was removed? it was done a few years back looking at the paperwork.
- i have a knock when i let off the throttle and change gear, in my mind this is a worn engine mount but can anyone confirm?
- tyre pressures... i have the 17" alloys with 225/55 tyres fitted. they were on 35F and 41R when i picked it up but I'm guessing these are too high.
- are remaps worth the money on these?
anyway any answers much appreciated
thankyou
James
