I'm sure I saw somewhere (but can't find the thread - if it was on here) that you can get skinny (9mm?) belts & much better 13mm belts. Is this true or is it something plain wrong diddley wrong that's lodged itself in my meesy head?

Dunno, just sure I read that there was thick'uns & thinn'uns & the thicker ones are better. Maybe your original suggestion regarding my narc' intake was right. Like many things it's just a figment on my imaginative!

Well I reckon if it was deeper it could be thicker on it's outside edge as it runs in a V groove (unlike Dildo, except as we discussed with family members!) See what I mean?

Well, got a 9mm one, fitted whilst changing my radiator today.

Surely you can't change the belt without removing the radiator, can you? There's zero room! Quite chuffed, the radiator was a totally unknown factor as it came with the motor when I bought it. HURRAH! No leaks! Shoulda seen the old one, they are supposed to have fins! Top half of this one just had the water ducts & the bottom half (talking of flies) had more insects stuck in it than fins. I'm amazed the Landy ran at a reasonable temperature!

Nope, that's when I'd call "a very nice man". You don't buy a dog & bark yourself............Unless you're in the backside of nowhere I guess. Still wouldn't fancy it unless my life depended on it.
