hey folks
after battleing through some dense greenlanes near exeter last weekend i happened to almost rip my snorkel off the wing of my 1984 LR90. it seems i only bent the upper mount and dislodged its place on the wing (it doesnt seem to be welded, more like glued).
i popped my hand underneath to discover it stops about 2" below the wing now ive seen the safari snorkels running into the vents on TD5's and other snorkels with lower attachments, but mine stops just under the wing. im running a 2.5 n/a if that helps. should i have some additional pipework connecting my snorkel to something, somewhere? luckily i havent been through any deep water in the 4months ive owned it! i would however like it to work properly and not just look good.
help as always appreciated
