Thanks, I've been watching that. Says it was rear mounted, so could be pot luck on the shafts being the right length.

Try GB Engineering in Brum....

Try Craddocks, we got a series 1 80" shaft from there the other day - guy told us just to go and have a look in the 'drive shaft bin' and see what we could find - they were rather suprised that they actually had a 80" drive shaft... but there we go. Price was good too.
But long and short of it - they have a big bin of drive shafts you can go and have a nose through

I'm gonna pick it up on sunday so will post back here then
oh and I may be able to get a D.T. technician at school to to make some up for you as he used to be a tool maker for mclaren f1 but I would have to check with him if you want to go down that route.

Okay so I got the winch today is it just the shafts you don't have?
or do you need the mounting bracket, universal joint and other stuff?
