Good afternoon series 3 people,
I'm nearing the completion of my Safari 109 and wanted to finish off with original wheels and semi chunky tyre's.
Can anyone recommend wheel tyre combo, suppliers size etc?

Probably came out of the factory with 7.50/16 Avon Rangemasters,

Just noticed that some 7.50R / 16 Rangemasters are 7.50R/80 /16 and some are 7.50R /16 which suggests there may be 2 different aspect ratios around. Make sure they have the "R" as this is a 7.50 radial, when your series was new they would be 7.50 / 16 crossplys, they should all be long gone but occasonally old stock comes up for sale, avoid it!

I saw a thread a while ago where somebody got them from ATS for a good price, I'm looking for some 235/85/16s (avon ranger) with the same tread pattern as the Rangemaster if you come across anything in the £100 or less mark let me know how you get on.
