An old clip, but first I’ve seen of it.
The classic YT film of cars (mostly not) fording correctly, but a LR special…

00.55 F1 pulls the numpty RR out
4.39 F2 does perfect crossing
5.12 F1 does perfect crossing
8.00 F2 does perfect crossing.

In fact, the FL’s are the only LR model that don’t make a pigs ear out of it.
Admittedly, in every clip it is the driver’s ability (or lack thereof), not the model, but it’s mostly RR’s that bugger it up. Just saying… :vb-groan2:

Nice to see the old Tambora get through without any trouble, (4.38min) what can't understand is why have the council not done anything about this ford by now, it's been going on for years, and why oh why do people think they can race through it.

Rufford ford has been closed for months.

Its surprising how many splash through at speed. Many of the newer lr's going slow with a bow wave. Wonder if thats because they went on the half day lr oft road training day where they teach yer how to cross water as well as general oft roading.

I put those RR’s that did it right (bow wave) down to them being used for the school run primarily, and they were just going slow for fear it got dirty… 😉

In fairness, most of those are Land Rover models that explode withOUT ingesting ****-tonnes of water. They're capable of it all by themselves 🤣
Not our Freelanders mate. Freelanders Rule :D

Well, maybe the V6's.

Oh, and the 4 pot petrols have a few issues.

But other than that... some of the diesels are actually pretty reliable :vb-crazy:
