is it worth paying £365 for a 12 month extended gold warranty?

the freelander is a 05 plate 1 lady owner done 69k and has full main dealer history.
auto box fluid was done at 49k.

thanks lee

I spent more than that in 6 months fixing mine lol if it covers everything yes
My last bill was £740 that's just this month

Sounds like a goodun :). I'd say go for the warranty yes, you won't regret it if even a single injector goes.

id go fr it, then spend 12 months inspecting everything, especially the expensive stuff, transmision and report every noise, creak and rumble. Get it detected early.

it does not cover everything so be carefull

wot he sed ^^^^^

I had that - the first 6 months they insisted anything was a "pre-existing condition" and wouldnt pay up. Then I had HGF, but they wouldnt pay for any " consumables" like antifreeze, oil or filters. They wouldnt pay for crack detection, skimming or checking of liner heights either as that wasnt covered under HGF repair!

Then I got shot of it, but I suppose with what they did pay for, I broke even :(.

Jesus MHM, was this company owned by an American HMO or something? Pre-existing condition my foot.

thanks for all your comments i am not going to bother with the extended warranty!

but i going to take her to bell for a check before the 1 month warranty runs out, i do not think there anything wrong but worth getting her checked out!!!

regards lee

Well done Lee, you've done the right thing to be picky and you will be much better off for it :).
