can't beat 750x16 michelin XZLs for general african antics, on a set of wolf rims.
Good in the mud, not bad on the road and good for desert as they are a skinny tall tyre, deflating them gives a longer footprint which is (contraversial) much better than a wide footprint.
Also, tough sidewall so good on rocks etc.
Much under-rated, great expedition all-rounder. Wouldn't be without them.
Admittedly not very macho,and they're so skinny your landy looks a bit odd from the front or back - like a 2cv or sommat!
