hey,i know this is gonna sound really stupid to a lot of you oldarses out there, but when using my 2a for launching my boat is it necessary to fit an exhaust snorkel. all comments welcomed, cheers john.

As long as you keep your engine running the exhaust will be kept clear, but as ele says don't stall.

I would keep an eye on ya chassis as well ;)

Stick a tow hitch on the frunt bumper & launch it frum that. It's a feck sight easier. ;)

as mentioned above just keep it running and it'll be ok if you are worried use the hand throttle to keep the revs up

Bad idea to go in that deep if it's salt water. It'll fook up your brakes and axles and all sorts. Seen quite a few round here that have been boat launchers and the back ends were rotten to hell.

Even if you do stall it you should be OK as long as you restart immediately. Although it can happen I have only actually heard of water being sucked up the exhaust into the engine once, an that took at 15 minutes.
Still best to try and avoid putting it to the test!

Of course if you get water on the ignition and the engine dies........
