Hi,

I was wondering how hard it was to replace the exhaust manifold gasket on my discovery 200tdi. Has anyone done this and got any advice for me before I start.

easy job,unbolt at manifold and it will pull back enough to change gasket. dont forget to disconect one end of turbo drain pipe so you dont strain it

Give all the nuts a good spray with penetrating oil for a couple of days before you do the job.

if tight tap with hammer and try and tighten before undo in.Make sure u have the right gear just in case any studs snap. If you got the gear they don't,if you haven't the law of sod say's they will.
