Apparently my heatshields are rusted and causing a nasty rattle. I haven't been under the car yet as I only found out what they were and I am away from home for the next few weeks.

Can anyone tell me if they can be replaced separate from the exhaust system and how much they cost.

Alternatively can i just get rid of the ones that are causing the problems or even fix it?

easy fix. big jubilee clip round the offending item and tighten untill the rattle stops
