Tyres need replacing and alloys need refurbisihing on my 2009 FL2 HSE before the MoT in 2 weeks time. Not looking to spend £800 on that as the car is going to Bell to get the Haldex fixed (hopefully) next month which will be £500+, subsequently I am thinking of getting a hald decent pre-owned set off of ebay.
Exisiting alloys are 235 60 18

Found some very good condition Evoque alloys with the same 235 60 18 size tyres and 6mm tread, so presume these will be a straight swap, but on doing some googling I have found that they may have TPMS valves fitted.

As my FL2 doesnt have any form of TPMS i'm thinking this wont cause me any problems, but could somebody please confirm I wont run in to any issues if I go for them?

Thanks in advance

It'll be a straight swap, and TMS transmitters in the wheels won't effect anything on a vehicle not equipped with such a thing.

You can also sell your 18 HSE rims on, to get a few £ back.

I'm actually looking for a set of cheap 18" rims for my SE, so if you want to sell them, ping me a PM. ;)

Thanks Nodge. The Evoque set are only 4 wheels so I will have to keep one of the HSE rims as a spare, and as mentioned will need new tyres and ideally a refurb, though structurally I believe them to be sound. If I get the other wheels I will take some pitures and drop you a PM.
