hello!!!

been having a nosey about the site this evening trying to gather some info and thought I should actually join up and say hi...! so.... hi....!

I am currently trying to sell my beautiful VW Corrado and my Audi 80 v6 work horse to buy a Landy. Am hoping for a Disco TDI as I am buying it to pull a horsebox about and generally do things a 4x4 should do...!

Hello

Good choice for towing. We tow a Ifor Williams trailer with a 15hh horse with our Freelander TD4. Well within the towing capacity (1.8t) but the larger capacity of the Disco (IIRC 3.5t with overrun brakes) would be handy for anything bigger. If we had our time again, we might go for the auto, but a Disco with low range would negate that need.

thats ok... I have never owned a car that hasnt needed to be well maintained, especially my Corrado - and if its gonna be used for pulling my babies about then I will be extra-specially careful about keeping it healthy...!!!
